Destination Soft brings four great board game classics to the Nintendo DS with this collection featuring MONOPOLY, BOGGLE, YAHTZEE, and BATTLESHIP. Now gamers can relive all the excitement of these four games by themselves or against others via wireless play. Each of the four games is recreated as closely to the original board game as possible. MONOPOLY features all the traditional properties, playing pieces, Community Chest, and Take a Chance cards that the original did. Players will still find themselves going directly to jail or landing on a Boardwalk space covered in houses. BOGGLE keeps all of the word-finding fun, losing only the need to shake the letters up. YAHTZEE and BATTLESHIP, likewise, keep as much as possible from the board game versions. The DS touch screen comes into play in a number of different ways, allowing players to roll, move, and sink battleships with a touch of the screen. Battleship, especially, makes use of the dual screen to mimic the way the BATTLESHIP board game is set up.
