Ore no Yome: Anata Dake no Hanayome

Also know as: ORE no YOME HANAYOME My Wife

Ore no Yome (俺の嫁) is a romance adventure focusing on the simulation of a married life. The story starts at the end of high-school after you profess your feelings to a girl that you love. Soon after, you start dating and eventually get married. Both, the protagonist, and his wife (on of the six selectable heroines) are nameless characters, leaving it up to the player to customize them. Before you start the game, you select your potential girlfriend which is soon to become your wife. Instead of a name, heroines are defined by type (older-sister type or a girl, childhood friend type of a girl, younger sister type of a girl, emotionless type of a girl, gentle type of a girl, or high-class with a sharp wit type of a girl). During the gameplay various events take a scene (quarreling with you wife, making up, going on a romantic dinner, cheering you up after a bad day at work, and any other regular thing that occurs in daily existence). The events are presented as a visual novel through background images with on-screen dialogues. You can also use you calendar to schedule events that will occur as the time passes. The game features several different modes which may affect your relationship with your wife, and are presented through event scenes. You can also check your current status with your better half through the "Contact Heart" mode. "Coordinate" mode lets you change clothes and accessories on a heroine. There are also several mini-games included, such as playing cards or QTE (quick-time event) games.
