In this game, the levels have been expanded, the graphics are detailed and vibrant beyond the imagination of what could be achieved at the time, and the music by Chris Huelsbeck is world class and one of the finest game MEGA TURRICAN After the fall of The Machine, Bren McGuire returns to the Freedom Forces as a decorated hero. However, the nightmare that had once terrorized the universe reappears, as The Machine returns and wreaks havoc with machine and mayhem. The people clamor for their shining savior to once again remerge, and Bren McGuire dons the suit once more for the final confrontation. Turrican is back! Combining the best elements of video game design from all over the world, Mega Turrican is the ultimate experience for Turrican fans on consoles. The gameplay is more linear than its predecessors, but the machines and mayhem remains intact and creates one of the finest action games ever seen on the home consoles. New to the game is also the grappling hook, allowing Turrican to swing from platforms and reach areas and secrets in a brand new way, as well as a lengthy list of artillery at your disposal. The music by Chris Huelsbeck also remains one of the highest quality Mega Drive soundtracks of all time. SUPER TURRICAN The peaceful world of Katakis sees its existence suddenly under threat with the sudden appearance of the titanic mechanical monster that is “The Machine”. Freezing the people and reconstructing the world in his evil vision, the survivors send out a last message and a cry for help hoping a hero will appear. Piloting the Avalon-1, the Freedom Forces warrior receives the message. He approaches the planet Katakis and sets out on his mission to destroy The Machine. Released on the SNES in 1993, this super version of Turrican combines elements from the previous games to create a compilation of the best elements of Turrican while introducing many unique aspects of its own. The new freeze beam can halt enemies in their path and help Turrican on his quest to conquer the evil that has enslaved the planet! The levels are huge and the secrets are many, so set out and find them all using all of Turrican’s abilities.
